Imagine the home you have lived in your entire life being ordered for demolition because someone declared, "This is a military firing zone." What would you do? This is the reality with the residents of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank. And it hasn't happened just once, but repeatedly over decades. This story is captured closely in No Other Land, a documentary that follows a conflict that has dragged on for over four years. From forced evictions and protests to profound loss. The film is a collaborative effort by Palestinian and Israeli creators who have joined forces to amplify the voices of the oppressed around the world.

Images Captured... Evidence and Life

Basel Adra, a young Palestinian man who grew up amid his family's struggles, joins forces with Yuval Abraham, an Israeli journalist. Together, they went into the field to document the demolition of homes, schools, and community wells, using everything from professional cameras to ordinary mobile phones. Every frame captured is more than just a story; it is "evidence" of the injustices taking place. Finally, it has been revealed for the entire world to see.

Friendship Amidst Conflict

Despite the high walls that separate them, which are divided by ethnicity, license plates, or even the freedom of movement, this documentary reveals a friendship between Basel and Yuval that gradually flourishes. Though they stand on opposite sides, both choose the "camera" as a bridge to tell the stories of the voiceless and to reflect that "humanity" should never be divided by border lines.

Small Voices that Shake Great Walls

No Other Land does is not just only expose the brutal reality faced by Palestinians, but it question back to us whether the "justice" we believe in is still true. This documentary is saturated with pain, anger, and the remnants of hope. It makes us believe that even if small voices are silenced time and time again, when they unite... they can always shake the greatest of walls.
